I still hear often, people say their dog doesn't have long hair, and therefore doesn't "need" grooming. I took these photos to show how wrong that statement is. The dog above was NOT CLIPPED in any way, shape or form, excepting his toes. All that hair you see on the left, is dead undercoat begging to be brushed out. On the right, you can see how much actual healthy coat the dog had. Extra undercoat is very uncomfortable and can lead to hot spots and skin disorders, dandruff, and trouble regulating temperature. Please remember that haircuts and grooming are not the same thing, and ALL dogs can benefit from a good grooming!
